Lawn Grass introduction

Top Crop Nursery has been growing lawn and turf grasses in plug format and sprigs for more than 30 years.

Research begun at Potchefstroom University in the early days and now a wealth of proven information is available.

The grass is sold under the brand name Superlawn.

Well known varieties such as Gulf green (tm) and Sea green (tm) have been introduced. Many projects have been successfully undertaken and we are considered a leader in the field when specialised grasses are required. Other warm season grasses such as Paspalum vaginatum (Superdwarf), are being introduced as time progresses.

When it comes to specific varieties required for a specific purpose Superlawn technical staff members are able to give you the correct advice. For more information "click" on the tag on the right.

We specialise in grass plugs and Supersod sprigs. Recently we have added to our production a range of  indigenous bunch grasses which are described on  the bunch grass page.
